Day 2
Techniques will lead to section layout and "gate" options for class separation of difficulty.
By designing, walking, and riding sections that mimic competitive courses riders can see varying difficulty by class. This also helps them determine their current level and aspiring level within the same test section. Riders learn how to read lines and are coached to their abilities with techniques to progress. Since smooth, clean riding is the goal with trials, riders may be encouraged to master easier terrain before attempting advanced obstacles.
Have fun! Progress at your own pace.
We share excellent venues and veteran experience in designing and riding sections. By learning to layout sections, riders begin to understand section length and layout, as well as, levels of difficulty in relation to competitive classes. Our model of practice is fun and will translate to improved line choice, cornering skills, and riding techniques to conquer obstacles.
We are lucky to have multiple locations. Some private access, some public open areas, and some designated trials areas. Location will be determined and shared with participants upon confirmation of reservations.
This is a bring your own bike (BYOB) event. Riders are required to wear helmet, boots, gloves and encouraged to wear knee pads too.
